Challenge
Project information was distributed across multiple workstreams. Producing a useful client update required collecting current statuses, child-task progress, due dates, descriptions, and revision states, then turning that information into a readable summary. Without a repeatable process, the reporting path depended on manual collection and formatting.
Existing Process / Constraint
The source systems contained different kinds of project information and status labels. The reporting workflow needed to preserve those distinctions rather than flatten them into an unsupported overall claim. It also needed to retain historical progress data so that recurring reports could be compared over time.
The workflow was designed around the information already available in the project system. No staffing, productivity, revenue, or project-acceleration outcome is claimed.

- Schedule the report run through Hermes.
- Deliver the summary through Zoho Desk so the output and delivery remain auditable.
Workflow Architecture
The implementation was workflow automation orchestrated by Hermes. The report-generation logic itself was deterministic Python processing, not autonomous or LLM-generated reporting.

Human-in-the-Loop / Governance
The workflow preserves human accountability:

- Reports are treated as planning and communication outputs, not guarantees.
- Client-facing delivery remains reviewable and attributable.
Implementation
The implementation used:
- ClickUp API source data.
- Two purpose-built Python reporting scripts.
- Dated HTML report artifacts.
- Historical progress JSON records.
- Hermes scheduled orchestration.
- Zoho Desk ticket creation and public summary delivery.
The scripts used deterministic status, child-task, date, progress, and historical-data logic. No material LLM/model call was found in the report-generation implementation.
What Changed
Before: project information was distributed across workstreams and required a manual reporting path.
After: the reporting process became a documented, repeatable workflow that collected source information, generated retained reports, scheduled execution, and delivered an auditable client-facing summary.
This is an operational-process change, not a claim of faster work, lower staffing needs, reduced errors, or improved business performance.
Verified Outcome
Project-status information from source workstreams was converted into consistent client-readable reporting and delivered through a repeatable, traceable workflow.
The observable evidence is the existence of dated generated reports, successful scheduled execution, successful Zoho delivery, and a closed delivery record.
Time savings, ROI, productivity improvement, project acceleration, client satisfaction, and revenue impact were not measured and are not claimed.
